What should I bring when visiting the bench?
Bring the watch itself, and if you have it, any existing service paperwork, spare links, or the original box. These help establish a fuller picture but are not required for an initial assessment.
How long does an overhaul typically take?
Strap and bracelet refits are generally same-day for standard sizing. A full chronograph or complication overhaul usually runs three to five weeks depending on parts availability and current bench workload.
Can I send a watch by post for the pre-purchase inspection?
Yes. Pieces sent by post should be packaged carefully with a return address and contact details enclosed. The bench can advise on a suitable courier option if needed. Please contact the studio before sending.
Do you service quartz movements?
Quartz pieces are accepted for the pre-purchase inspection and for strap or bracelet work. Full battery replacement and quartz calibration services are available on selected movements — please enquire with the calibre reference if known.
Will the inspection report include a valuation?
No. The inspection report describes condition, originality observations, and timing performance. It is intended to inform a purchase decision. Valuations and authentication certificates are outside the scope of this service.
What payment methods does the bench accept?
The studio accepts cash in Malaysian Ringgit, DuitNow transfer, and major debit or credit cards. A receipt is issued for every transaction.
